ABC GIVES “THANKSGIVING GIFT” TO AMERICA
Prime Time Special Uplifting and Faith-affirming
REDLANDS, CA – November 22, 2011– “The ABC television network is giving a special Thanksgiving gift to America with the airing of ‘Mitch Albom’s Have a Little Faith’ this coming Sunday,” says Dr. Larry Poland, Chairman of Mastermedia International. The Hallmark Hall of Fame special will air Sunday, November 27, at 9:00-11:00 p.m., ET. It features top talent like Laurence Fishburne, Bradly Whitford, and Martin Landau and is an actual reenactment of very dramatic, personal experiences of best-selling author Mitch Albom.
After ABC provided a private screening for Poland in Hollywood, he was so enthusiastic about the movie that he pledged his assistance to the network in marketing it to the Christian community nation wide. “It is great to see a major network airing a movie with such redemptive values,” said Poland, “Everyone should watch or set the DVR for this one!”
Since 1985, Mastermedia International has consulted with executives in the entertainment industry in Hollywood and New York on the Christian community and mobilized prayer for media’s most powerful gatekeepers. A primary focus has been building bridges of love and trust in place of the animosity which has often marked the relationship between Christian believers and television networks over the content of their fare.
