The head of a large foundation explained to Larry Poland that a member of his board would be joining their meeting later. In due time, an attractive woman arrived, took a seat at the table, and listened as the interaction proceeded between Dr. Poland and her associate with the foundation. At a pause in the conversation, the woman said, “Dr. Poland, we have never met, but you have been a great encouragement to me and helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life. I am a news anchor at a network affiliate here in our city, and I went through an awful experience with the station, one which resulted in very  public conflict, litigation, and such.
